Ingredients for making cheese bread with potatoes:
5 cups of sweet powder
3 cups of boiled and mashed potatoes
1 cup of milk (240 milliliters)
1 cup of oil or margarine
200 grams of cheese to your liking
3 eggs
½ teaspoon of salt
How to make cheese bread with potatoes:
Pass the potatoes through a sieve or strainer to obtain a smooth puree. Put this mashed potato in a pan together with the milk and margarine or oil and bring to the fire. Keep stirring the mixture of this cheese and potato bread until it boils.
Tip: This recipe can also be made with sweet potatoes to reduce calories.
Put the flour and salt in a bowl, add the ingredients from the pan and mix first with a spoon and then with your hands, until you get a smooth dough. Add the eggs one by one and incorporate well into the dough.
Tip: It is important to add the eggs one by one so as not to lose the dough point if the egg is too big. The dough should be soft and in a single alloy, without coming off.
Finally, add the grated cheese to the potato and cheese bread mixture and knead again. Shape the dough into balls the size you want and place on an oven tray (no oiling required). Bake in a hot oven (200ºC) until golden.
Tip: Grease your hands with a little oil to make the rolls easier to shape.
